THERE IS A STRONG ANCHOR .

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

written by Stella C Mitchell
January 2024 ..

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Dear friends - when the
Fierce waves are lashing our
Mortal frames - and the angry winds
Howl - 'til we cry out in despair - it is then
We can call on th name of the Lord
Who has promised - to
Always be near .

He is near to
The broken hearted and
Fearful - who lay awake through
The shadows of night - and those in danger
In conflicts and sickness - or in wars
And chaos - and terrible
Plight .

But - in the midst
Of the Chaos and troubles
That pummel our souls - with their
Terrors and fright - there is a strong Anchor
That  we  can cling to  - a sure
Foundation  - of
Unshakable
Might .

An Anchor that
Never wavers - or weakens -
No matter how high the waves crash
Around or above - for this is an Anchor - not
Made by the hands of men - but -
By the power of the
Saviour of
Love .

Such love - that
Hears even the faintest of cries -
Above the tempest - the storm - and the gale
And - an Anchor -  that  holds  tightly
To the one who believes - He
Can never - nor
Will ever -
Fail.

So dear friends -
When we pass through
The valley of shadows - or hear
The roar of the oncoming storm - look
Up - and rejoice - for the Spirit of
Peace -  holds us secure -
In  the  sure  Anchor of
His outstretched -
And - strong
Loving -
Arms .

Amen .

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

I pray the Lord will hold you
all secure in His Anchor
of protection and
love .

Amen
